Product Overview
Acyclovir is a synthetic nucleoside analogue antiviral drug active against herpes simplex viruses (HSV-1, HSV-2) and varicella-zoster virus (VZV). It selectively inhibits viral DNA polymerase after activation by viral thymidine kinase. Available in USP and BP grades for oral, topical, and injectable formulations.

- Herpes simplex (cold sores, genital herpes) oral tablets and capsules
- Varicella-zoster (chickenpox, shingles) treatment
- IV injection for severe viral infections
- Topical creams and ointments (5%)
