Pantoprazole is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which in turn relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Side effects may include- Diarrhoea, Flatulence, Headache, Nausea, Stomach pain, Vomiting, Dizziness. If any of the effect worsens reach out to your doctor/physician immediately.
