CIFIDAY 200 Tablets is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This medications is known as a cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacterial infections. Antibiotics such as cefixime will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections. Using antibiotics when they are not needed increases your risk of getting an infection later that resists antibiotic treatment.
Cefixime is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. Cefixime is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.
